What We Do
Green Counties Vets provide a high quality professional service to
commercial farmers.
We offer all routine and emergency veterinary work including:
- Fertility work and scanning
- Disease monitoring and testing
- Lameness and herd health planning
- Mastitis control
- Sick cows
We also work with our farmers to provide high level husbandry and management advice to optimise farm efficiency and minimise drug usage.
We enjoy working with other farm professionals such as foot trimmers, nutritionists and farm business consultants to best serve our clients with a team approach.
We also make extensive use of computer software to monitor and analyse cow data so that we can help farmers make informed management decisions. We believe that this is the most beneficial use of resources available to the modern farmer and is the cornerstone of our practice.
We are happy to work with farmers for routine data monitoring to help them drive farm efficiency or to tackle individual health problems as they arise both for our own clients and on a referral basis.
We have extensive industry links to some of the best research teams into bovine health in the UK and are
keen to involve our clients in this process, so they can join us at the cutting edge of cattle health and production.
